I am pleased to announce my appointment as a Member of the Scientific Committee for the International Conference on "New and Emerging Technologies in Defence Education, Training and Governance".
The event is organized by the Doctoral School of the War Studies University (Warsaw, Poland) and MIT University Skopje (North Macedonia) , in cooperation with the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology (Poland) and Pamukkale University (Turkey) .
The conference will take place in a hybrid format on 20-21 May 2026, featuring an onsite session in Warsaw and an online programme the following day. It will bring together academics, practitioners, industry representatives, and doctoral students to explore how immersive technologies (VR, AR, MR, CAVE), simulation, and innovative instructional design are reshaping military and civilian training in defence and security contexts.
It is a great honor to contribute to this important international dialogue and to support cutting-edge research on the critical intersection of emerging technologies and defence.
