I will be speaking at the international workshop 'Deliberative Practices and Under‑Represented Groups' in Brussels

I am pleased to announce my participation in the international research workshop 'Deliberative Practices and Under‑Represented Groups', to be held at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) on 11–12 June 2026. The event is organised as part of COST Action CHANGECODE (CA22149), a European research network dedicated to the study of digital transformations and communicative inequalities.

I will present my paper entitled:

🧠 'Hybrid Deliberation and Under‑Represented Groups: From Presence to Influence in Deliberative Design'.

The paper explores how algorithmic mediation and digital platforms affect the inclusion of under‑represented groups in deliberative processes, with a focus on communicative inequalities and inclusive institutional design.

The workshop aims to advance research on the inclusion of under‑represented groups in deliberative practices and democratic processes.
